Antisemitism has erupted in America. How did the institutions meant to explain it help shape it instead?

From campuses to the public square, antisemitism has emerged with alarming force. How did a nation that once offered Jews unprecedented freedom arrive at this moment, and why have the institutions charged with explaining it proven so unable to confront it?

Drawing on work from across academic and public debate, this volume examines the ideas, failures, and evasions behind the present crisis. It challenges prevailing narratives and established assumptions, tracing how institutional authority has faltered — and what this reveals about America itself.
